Patrik Schick began his football career at the tender age of 6. His first team was TJ Viktoria Vestec in 2002 where he spent one year building a firm foundation for his basic footballing skills and ability. Schick went on to spend 4 years at FŠ Optimum Sport before moving to AC Sparta Praha’s youth setup in 2007. After 6 years at AC Sparta Praha’s U17 side, young Patrik was promoted to the club’s U19 squad and then to their first team in the span of just 2 years.

After a short loan spell at Bohemians Prague 1905 B, Patrick decided to continue his career in Italy for Sampdoria in 2016. He managed to score 13 goals in just 35 appearances for the Italian side.

One year later, Schick moved to Roma initially on a loan deal but would later join them on a 15 million euro transfer deal. Despite making 58 appearances for AS Roma, the striker only managed to find the net on 8 occasions.
