Fun Fact: Smith Rowe had a trial with Chelsea in around 2009 before he joined Arsenal.

Smith Rowe’s hard work and dedication would pay off as he earned a promotion to Arsenal’s U18 team in 2016. Shortly after, Emile was promoted to Arsenal’s U23 team 2 years later. Although his skills and playstyle were impressive for his age, Arsenal’s then manager Unai Emery decided that the youngster needed some more playing time which he was lacking at Arsenal’s first team. Because of this reason, Smith Rowe joined RB Leipzig on a loan deal in 2019 and one year later, joined Huddersfield on a similar loan deal.

After two impressive loan spells, Smith Rowe made his return to Arsenal rejuvenated as a different player. Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta had no option but to integrate the sensational youngster into Arsenal’s first team where he played as the heart in the midfield position facilitating most plays going forward.
