Neymar rude response: Neymar and his rude response found themselves swimming in yet another controversy after he was spotted at Romario’s birthday party, the former football player now turned politician having turned 58 years of age.
The Brazilian starlet Neymar has been out of action since October courtesy of an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus which sets him out for the remainder of the season and it’s very likely that he might miss the Copa America in the fast-approaching summer.
However, what caught the attention of the general public was his outrageously shocking physique with some calling him ‘fat’ to which Neymar responded rudely.
Neymar Rude Response: Suck it Haters!
Surrounded by controversies, this isn’t the first time Neymar has lost it over hate on social media. Although there is no doubt when it comes to his talent and gifted abilities, it’s the little things that lead to the inflammation of the Brazilian’s footballing personality.
Many photographs began circulating on the internet where Al Hilal’s star man was seen being bigger in size than usual. This didn’t sit well with him and Neymar took it upon himself to do the defending part.
On Twitter, he published a brief video explaining the situation. He lifted his shirt up and showed his belly while saying the following:
“Training today finished. I’ve become overweight. But fat? No, I guess not. Suck it, haters.“
“Suck it, hold on, or get scared.”
Ronaldo setting an Example
Just five days away from turning 39, the all-time great Cristiano Ronaldo took to his Instagram to reveal the incredible shape he was in, a physique that of a 23-year-old.
Some believe it was a dig at Neymar as both share the same birthday and with the Brazilian turning just 32, a word from the street has it that Ronaldo was trying to show what it takes to be at the very top irrespective of whether you’re 39 or 29.
While Neymar stays out of action for the remainder of the season, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently recovering from a minor calf injury that could potentially keep him out from the game against Inter Miami where he was set to have a one-off with long-time rival Lionel Messi.
What’s Next for Neymar?
This isn’t the first time that Neymar has been called out for being fat or overweight as he’s been spotted being slightly more frivolous when it comes to taking care of his physique.
When you’re a football player and play at the highest level, it’s simply out of the question to make compromises with respect to your physique as the physical demands get higher with every passing day.
We’ve pondered over this question for quite some time from his early days at Barcelona and his eventual surprise move to Al Hilal and the answer has remained constant which is that he needs to pick some discipline up. Known for being a hard-partier, if he wants to get his career back on track then these need to be reserved for the retirement years.
