Malo Gusto Father

Malo’s father Phillipe Gusto works for a French railway company. Phillipe’s favorite sport was rugby and had high hopes of passing on this passion to little Malo. Nonetheless, Malo was destined to become a footballer and shortly transitioned to the beautiful game. Phillipe expressed his disappointment in an interview where he said,

“Malo was very talented. He was already going fast and had a lot of activity. Again, he was combative and had a good vision of the rugby game. I think he could have made a very good three-quarter center if he had stayed with rugby.”

Eventually, Malo’s decision to follow his passion for football would pay off massively.
