Jarrod Bowen was a massive football fanatic from his young days and loved playing as well as watching the sport. He began his football career during his school days at Hereford United at the age of just 10 years old. Bowen faced a setback after he was released by Hereford due to managerial instability but was recalled later. Despite undergoing trials for Cardiff City, he was unfortunately rejected and admitted that he was brought down to tears upon receiving the call from his father.
But Cardiff were not the only ones to miss out on signing the English winger. Aston Villa also passed up on the opportunity to sign Jarrod Bowen when he was a child.

He was promoted to Hull City’s senior team in 2016 and managed to bag 54 goals and 14 assists in his 131 appearances for the club. Bowen’s successful 5-year spell at Hull City meant he started getting offers and attracted representatives from countless other clubs. Ultimately, West Ham would swoop in for a move worth 21 million euros in 2020 and Bowen could not reject. This transfer was the breakthrough moment in the structure of his career. Bowen has managed to net 57 goals and provide 36 assists in just 190 appearances for The Hammers. He is now a sure-spot starter for the club and is known for his consistent performances and unrivaled work rate.
His best performance for the club to date has to be the dramatic winner he scored against Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final in 2023. West Ham beat Fiorentina 2-1 in a thrilling final which was West Ham’s second only European trophy in all of their history.
